Hacking Chances of custom firmware for CycloDS Evolution?

What are the chances of anyone making custom firmware for the CycloDS Evolution (like Wood Firmwares for the R4)?

I know the answer is probably, "Nil," but I still have to ask.

Not much chances as this flashcart isn't open sources.

Technically no. Why bother putting YSmenu on the CycloDS when most features are lost then IIRC.. Easier to buy a new R4 for a few $ and then use WoodR4 on that if someone want an alternative firmware.

That's the answer I was expecting.

Thanks for the replies, all. I guess with hex edit patches and the end of new DS releases drawing near, I might as well just stick with the CycloDS Evo at this point.

A few more timely updates from Team Cyclops would have been nice, though.
