Hacking CFG Loader

Could use some help with CFG loader. Once in awhile the loader will freeze upon booting from homebrew. I must pull the plug and reboot, then it works. This is a little annoying.
Am on cios 249. Did everything about a month ago so I am guessing I have latest versions.
