In anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077's DLC Phantom Liberty's release later this month, CD Projekt Red has aired a cinematic trailer for the game today during the latest episode of Night City Wire:

Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?

The developer also aired a behind the scenes trailer featuring Idris Elba, who plays Solomon Reed in the DLC:

Another announcement made during the same Night City Wire episode, was the release date for Cyberpunk 2077’s free Update 2.0 which brings new features such as a revamped police system, redesigned perk and enhanced cyberware. The update will be available from September 21st for all players who own Cyberpunk 2077 on current-gen consoles and PC.

As for the story expansion itself, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty arrives on September 26th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
