Gaming Castlevania Portrait of Ruins. Always Hang... anyone experience this?

I am using M3i Sakura with all the latest update to play Castlevania Portrait of Ruins.
It always random hang after about 10 minutes of playing.

Anyone experience this problem?

I have already try the US version or the UK version.
Both game always have random hang.

Is this game not compatible with M3i Sakura?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: I am using 8Gb Transcend MicroSD
It is good enough? or should I get another brand?
If so, what brand?

I don't have a M3i, but it works fine on my M3 Real with the 3 latest versions of Sakura.
Disable RTS, and Soft Reset if they're on. Same goes with cheats if you're using them.

And Transcend is a good brand in my experience. My Class 6 4GB works flawlessly. What class is your 8GB?

I swear there had been heaps of complaints about this and I seem to always forget what I have suggested to fix this.

Well, i don't know really. I'm using an R4 and the game lags and freezes too.

I don't know about M3's though.

i have the freeze problem with this game too. but the time is various so i didn't know when it will freeze. maybe some pray before playing the game will help...

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
