Hello, i'm currently using a 4.1.0-8 U sysNAND with a gateway 9.4.0-21 U emuNAND, i've used Ninjhax website and entered my sysNAND to create the QR Code but when i'm reading it, my 3DS just froze and i can't do anything. Does ninjhax work on emuNAND GW 9.4.0-21? If no, is there a way to downgrade?

You can still use NINJHAX on RealNAND if you have a legal copy of the game.

9.4.0 doesn't work. doesn't matter if it's EmuNand or SysNand. The ROM is running when EmuNand is running, so obviously it isn't going to know that your SysNand isn't 9.4.0 because you're basically telling the ROM "Hey the Gateway and I want you to know we're on 9.4.0 and you can't ask questions."

Perhaps someone with the exploit installed on their EmuNand/Cubic Ninja ROM would be willing to send you the hacked save data file. I don't have a Gateway so I have no idea if that's possible, but I'm just throwing it out there, but I still think that even if you have an installed exploit, the 9.4.0 emunand will block execution of the file anyway. As for Downgrading EmuNand, I have no idea.

Why would you suggest this? 1. he has a gateway so he's obviously not interested in paying $60 for a $5 game, and 2. He specifically asked about Ninjhax working on EmuNand, not SysNand and 3. Even if he had a retail copy and ran it on SyNand 4.1.0, that doesn't put the exploit on the Cubic Ninja gateway ROM.

    1. The spirit of homebrew is not to do anything illegal. It's theoretically possible that he owns a copy of CN (maybe from the time before it got expensive and it's less expensive in some countries).
    2. He mentioned his sysNAND FW so why shouldn't I suggest that?
    3. He never said that he wants to have the explot in a ROM. It's just your interpretation.

Your solution seems very interesting, even worth a try, but i'm not sure there's alot of people out there with Gateway who are using Ninjhax, i have no idea if i could be able to find such a .sav.

Wouldn't work, 9.3 blocked ninjhax and it's purely a system firmware thing. And since GW uses a patched 9.4 system kernel (regardless of your actual firmware in emuNAND) in 2.7, you can't use Ninjhax. Your best bet would be to buy the game and run it under your system nand or to reformat your emuNand back to your system NAND's firmware and use a game under emuNAND to bring it back up to 8.1 or something.

Or just use a second big SD card without EmuNAND.

You can simply keep it on 4.5. NINJHAX works on the FW, too.

Yea, but i'll need to swap SD Cards everytime i want to use Ninjhax, while most Ninjhax Homebrew are also on .cia, i don't think it worth it, i'll just wait for a stable Homebrew Channel .cia or until there's a really interesting homebrew.

The chances of a "Homebrew Channel .CIA" are slim to none. Needs the HB service from ninjhax to work. Granted, homebrew stuff is usually in .CIA format, but you'll miss out in CitrAGB and whatever other emulators use dynrec stuff, at least until someone figures out how to use SVC 0x70 to set memory executable.

Well swaping SD Cards is'nt a really efficient solution too, i could still try TidusWulf solution if i can find a .sav from a Ninjhax cubic ninja rom..

You're not listening. As shinyquagsire23 said, it *won't* work.
Even with a ninjhax save you cannot launch the homebrew channel under 9.4. Period.

You have only two options if you want to use ninjhax; The first is that you use a physical copy of the game to launch Ninjhax on your sysNAND. The second is that you rebuild your emuNAND and from your 4.x emuNAND you update to 8.1 using a suitable ROM.

You also made a really really bad mistake trying the NJHax on 9.4 emunand, trust me, I did!!! You will find out now downloading anything of e-shop, updates, youtube etc.. you name it in emunand, it will now create an unknown error code on you all the time at 99% of the download and the only way to get around this issue is to format your sd-card and start all over again, yes you lose everything, you will need a fresh emunand and also a total fresh sd-card, there is nothing you can do to correct the mistake!. I made the same mistake as you and then found out this happens and that is your only solution, wave goodbye to all your settings and saves on your 3DS emunand and say hello to your new emunand and settings. :(

It should be written somewhere in the Ninjhax thread if it's not already done. Does it only happen in emunand? (because it would be a pain if that would also happen is sysnand, as you can't reset it, except if it dissapear by using "format" in the option).

Anyway, if you have to reinstall emunand, then Ninjhax will work. You'll have to update emunand to 8.1 with smash bros rom though (hold up when you boot gateway mode to disable the update spoof) to play the last games if you also want to use ninjhax as well.

Really? Is'nt there anything else i can do? At least i did'nt had important save in my 3DS, hopefully, most of my games have .sav, but then i will loose all my streetpass, friendlist, and .cias i've installed? Is'nt there any other way around it??

Yea, what the heck, so if someone have a sysNAND with 9.4, he'll loose all his data? Why have'nt anyone warned me about it..

Ask smea here or on tweeter, maybe he would know how to fix that?

Though, I advice everyone to backup their emunand once in a while with "emuNANDTool_1.0.1.exe", especially if you have friends added in it/cia installed, etc...

I'll try to contact him here, but yea, i've actually DID (thanks god) a backup of my emuNAND on the last 28th of November, but how can i use it to fix my problem? I just format my SD Card and reinject my emuNAND.bin file? Simple as that?
