Hacking Can't get Pole's Big Adventure to work

man I redownloaded it 3 times
it comes in a rar, if it was corrupted the rar would've been corrupted too, plus it works for others from the same source.

Trust me, corrupted download is ruled out.

Star Soldier R and Pole's Big Adventure have something in common, we just have to figure out what

Some WADs even with Starfall or patching does not work. Sorry to break it up to you.

Likewise, my WAD of Defend Your Castle, even through freethewads it doesnt work.

cause everyone that's tried this wad has been saying it works great for them.

well i can live without this game lol, but i want to figure out what it is that makes it so these two wads wont run on my system because someday a game I absolutely must play could come out, like LostWinds 2 for example and I might not be able to.

It's a region problem.

My Wii is 3.2U, but the copy of Defend Your Castle was PAL.

And I patched it with FreeTheWads, installed, but didn't work

Without patching, and relying with Starfall's region free channel hack alone, also didn't work.

if it is a region problem then there might still be hope with that manual cracking thing, if anyone knows where i can get all the files needed for that please let me know.
That's the only thing left for me to try now.

dude you are right!
It WAS a region issue, I got a PAL Star Soldier R and that works perfectly.

Ok so now we know, it's time for me to find all that stuff needed to manually crack and convert the game and give it a shot like that.

I can't find it anywhere, it isn't on Ludibria or torrents or anything,
at least not under the name "Pole's Big Adventure" !

I'm just curious because I can't find anywhere that Pole's Big Adventure is out on the scene... it was out last month on jap wiiware, that much I know.

Obviously these people are bullshitting, there is no release
of Pole's Big Adventure. Not a scene release, not a personal
dump, not a non-scene release... Nothing. The game has not been
released yet except via legitimate download in Japan. I don't know
why no one has released it yet, it surely makes no sense
that it's not out by now but the fact remains, it just isn't yet.

OK - Got it working!!!

Downloaded the file you linked to from demonoid, patched it using the long guide linked to on page one, and it's all working fine on PAL!

Don't have NTSC to check!

Not sure I can link to the "release" here, but have shared it on demonoid and a.b.g.wii

Just search for:

Poles.Big.Adventure.JAP.WiiWare.Patched.PAL.WORKING.READNFO-SOBTANIAN

I STILL don't have this game

I'm too lazy to patch it myself and a guy here told me where to get it from pre-patched but as soon as i went there to download it the place went down, was down for a couple days and when it came back everything was gone, you know what site i'm talking about most likely lol

So I still don't have this game in PAL format and I really want it
