can't ftp more games to g drive anymore 2tb disk with 1.4tb free on gdrive

so i have a tsop xbox original and with some hickups i got the 2tb drive detected and formatted.
all was good and started writing without problems ( connections set to max 1, using filezilla, and tested with flashfxp and core ftp as well ).
i wrote about 350gb i think and it keeps skipping telling me it can't connect to the server, some smaller files get written here and there but mainly skipping.
writing to my e drive is no problem, i still have 100gb on that drive... so i think its a space issue altough it says there is still 1.4tb free on the g drive.

well, i'm stuck, any help is welcome, need more info, just ask me and i will provide... getting tired at the moment so forgive me...

i just believe i am missing something, details on the net are scarse, or 1000 solutions and i don't now where to turn.

Iirc... You need to format the F and G partitions with a certain cluster size on 2 TB drives.

Go into XBpartitioner and see if cluster sizes are showing normally. Most likely they are not and if you continue your drive gets corrupt about 50% in.

1TB is 64K cluster for F and G I believe and go back into XBpartitioner and to make sure cluster size says 64 for both with no garbled text or anything out of norm

Chimp fixes this for me but I cant do the reset combo without black screen - XBpartitioner also works but you have to format a few times until it works and reset combo works.

its been years for me for modding the xbox, back in my day we had max 180gb hdd's at affordable prices, never had this problem.

its been years for me for modding the xbox, back in my day we had max 180gb hdd's at affordable prices, never had this problem.

I use auto installer deluxe to create large HDDS then isntall unleash X

Then I use chimp or xboxpartitioner to create F n G

I reboot and go back into xboxpartitioner and check cluster size to make sure all is good. Reboot is a must as it sometimes shows cluster size good but on reboot you will see that its not sometimes.

Chimp always works but again I want the reset feature so I go with xboxpartitioner.

Once format and cluster is ready to go you wont have the corrupt issue - I feel your pain I forgot to setup properly on a 2TB build and that takes a while to fill :/

i used the hexen cd, then with some help from DinohScene ( and thank him for that ) i got the dash working.
i created the g drive with the formatter on the hexen disk, went into partitioner but was jibberich to me...lol...
schould have looked deeper into it...

hate chimp, thats why i went for tsop, easy hdd creation...

Chimps the easiest

load chimp

tsop modded tools

create F and G

reboot and done

Never had chimp not format right

I have, hexen, slayers, auto deluxe and found the best combo is auto deluxe, create large HDD, install unleash x, format with xbox partitioner or chimp and done. Tried all other ways and always wrong cluster etc.

so all seems to be working now... thanks guys, and sorry for yesterday, was a little drunk...
i formatted in 2 equal 1tb.

was a little tired from this week, spend alot of time on the xbox, sanding painting, slicing the case .

now looking for a temp display, suggestions are welcome
