Hacking Can't find kernel update - R4 SDHC 3DS/DSI Dual-Core Smart Update

This is the card:

I keep trying to download from anywhere. This was the last one I tried: https://www.r43ds.org/pages/R4-3DS-Dual-Core-New-Firmware.html
Whenever I insert it into my DSI (1.4.5) it keeps saying 'An error has occured. Please turn the system off'

Does anyone know where to find the correct kernel update? I bought this card around two years ago but haven't used it since.

Don't run that kernel as your primary since it has a time bomb.Use this https://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/...rogamefan-multi-cart-update-v7-03-f33204.html Look for sdhc and put all the files on root of your micro sd card,then put this r4.dat on the root https://gbatemp.net/attachments/r4-dat-zip.44557/

i didnt think this version of R4 used r4.dat, but instead _DSMENU.dat

That gives me an error still. And I think it does use DSMENU.dat.

That gives me an error still. And I think it does use DSMENU.dat.

Try renaming the r4.dat to _DSMENU.dat then.If that doesn't work then I guess its a different brand then I originally thought it was.

Yes fat32 if it isn't already.

what system are you trying to run this on. if its a 3ds its more than likely a blocked cart.

the version of .com.cn have not timebomb and use wood firmware i tested change the dat to 2020 and it work but anithing have ysmenu for my flashcard version ?

i need help with this issue too, i have a r4 card which has the label new on it , no specific year.
but it is an old one from 2012 perhaps, it says system file is missing for me!!

let me know what i need to place in my mSD, it works with my blue GW card but i have an issue with that gw card ejecting so i want to use this r4 card instead (it used to work just fine, not sure why it suddenly gives me that system file is missing).
