I have about 4GB free memory on my 32GB SD card. While trying to copy the file (Tales of the Abyss Undub, which is around 1.8GB) the processing speed is stable for a while but then it drops to 0 and the SD reader disconnects and connects back again. I've tried using all 3 different ports on my laptop. Could it be a faulty reader? The card itself works fine.

Are you sure the lock is not in the downward position on the left side? If so pull it upward and try again.

Nevermind, it wouldn't copy at all if that were the reason.

Copy everything off, reformat in FAT32 + 32 KB cluster size, and full Write + Verify the empty card with H2testw. Test for hardware problems.
