So, I picked up my homebrewed 3DS after a while and tried to insert the SD card for it, but I made the mistake of pushing it in right side up, as I'd expect you'd put it in. Upon turning it on, I got a "The SD Card has write protection enabled" message. So, after reading around a bit, it seemed that replacing the SD reader was the way to go, so I ordered a 12$ SD reader off Amazon and replaced it, following this iFixIt tutorial. Now, the 3DS refuses to power on when the SD card is inserted, and if you insert it when the 3DS is on, it slows down a TON and after around 45 seconds gives a "Could not detect an SD Card" message, before speeding back up. When I inserted the SD card in GodMode9, it gave the message "SD initialization failed! Retry?" and no matter how many times I retried, it wouldn't work. Any idea what the problem is here? Any help is appreciated.
