hi everyone right can i ask a question how do you play ps4 games on external hard drive through ps4 is it possible yet to do this like the ps3 you put the games on a external hard drive boot up multiman and then you click on the game and it boots up through multiman so is there any backup managers out for the ps4 where you just put a ps4 game on external hard drive and boot up i don't really know much about the kernel export and i have been reading up about it it is not straight forward to do that i thought that you just install the kernel export and put the games ps4 on external hard drive i know of a site ps4hax and there are some ps4 games on the site full games where you download the pkg file of the full game and install it on the ps4 and is that all you have to do is just install the pkg of the game or is there other things you have to do cos it says something about ps4hen i am not sure what that is so is there any backup managers out for the ps4 where you just put the game on external hard drive and boot up is it simply like the ps3 where you have cfw and backup manager and game on external hard drive

I purchased a 8tb hdd and adaptor for the ps4. Should be here by the weekend I'll report back when i get it.

You may run into problems there since a desktop drive needs it's own power so you'll have to make sure the HDD it's on before you start the PS4 unless I am missing something.

You've got a bigger problem, your 8TB hard drive needs 4.50 firmware to work, the PS4 won't even see the drive on 4.05

I am not so sure this is true anymore debug settings has some interesting settings. I personally think you are right but he could just make a 4tb partition on it.

I've just installed a 7mm 2tb sshd on the slim's bay and worked flawlessly. Ps4 firmware supports running from and installing to USB external discs from 4.50 onwards for extra space.

stop been lazy and fecking read the simple guide already posted here.

annoys the shit out of me when people put the effort in making guides and people ignore them and create a new post asking people to spoon feed them.

at least attempt to read said guide first, if you cant find it, then head over to the ps4/hacks section and tar de fecking tar dar.
