I am on cfw 8.1 and the latest sx os version the beta version . Since upgrading to this i have been getting alot of Error Code 2002-4153 "The software closed because an error occurred"
for corrupted data. This happens at random times throughout my games.

Can i downgrade to a more stable version of sx os? If so how do I do it?

yes you can, just replace the boot.dat in the root of sd card
however do mind that older sx os version does not support newer cfw, and in your case you cannot use older sx os because cfw 8.1 only supported by sx os 2.8

What makes you think it's your SXOS version? Don't you think a lot more users would have complained about this problem here since release? It's more likely your SD card being corrupted. Try reformatting, or changing SD card.

Sounds more like an SD card problem, take it out and try cleaning it with alcohol.

    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
