or atlest tell me that ur working on it?

^ It's rude to rush, especially when they're doing you a favour. So buckle the fuck down and be patient.

People like you make me sick.

Oi sorry for not updating for a couple of days have been busy in school. Biology repport

Actually i only need to either make the helicopter smaller or the bricks smaller and then add highscore.

But oi now's weekend and no homework so i got time for finishing it ^^

He didn't really promise anyone a game...he just wanted to make one and help people. Generally speaking though, rushing people gives out two outcomes: they get fed up and leave, or they give you something so buggy that you take it right off. Finally, assuming is one of the WORST things to do.

xD You aren't going to take a break for Halloween?
My looping train of thought:
"I vote for smaller bricks! oh wait...but then the helicopter might look too big. I vote for a smaller helicopter! oh wait...but then the sizes are unrealistic. I vote...."
So good luck with the helicopter thing (playing other homebrew games in the mean time)

one bad thing i live in australia and haloween isnt that big over here so not much candy for me

QUOTE(Toni Plutonij @ Oct 30 2009, 01:21 PM) DO NOT MULTIPLE POST AND RUSH PEOPLE!!

btt:
thought about some nice and unique addition to the bloxavoid game
and to make a multiplayer game out of it

- local multiplayer 1v1
- player with most points win
- multiple objects to collect:
--- blue arrow down (slow down your ship)
--- red arrow up (speed up enemy ship)
--- blue coin (gain more points for 5 or 10 seconds)
--- red coin (enemy gains less points for 5 to 10 seconds)

i know that this feature would take it a bit away from the original concept of the game but i think that if this would be possible it would be definitely a really nice addition to the already awesome game

Tsunii great idea:) maybe it could be made as a seperate game mode? i would love to be able to play 1v1

is the game finished? if so when will you release?

im sorry i know its against the rules to multiple post i was just wondering when the helicopter game will be released?
thanks and im sorry for multiple posting
smile.gif

........ no....
dont rush him.... >_> dont keep asking him when it'll be released! a game isnt that simple to make!

if you know you're multiple posting, then edit your post!

i edited my post but i dont think that the maker would get my question looking on page 2 of the threads list.

Lurked this thread a while before posting, and all I have to say is:

And we NEED, nay, DESERVE a starters guide for homebrew gamemaking here at GBATemp! I would really like to help the DS community get better, but I have nowhere to start. Can anyone point this noob a few directions (that isn't the exit)?

Well, generally everyone just refers looking for one or two websites or something (I can't remember) because they have very good tutorials. I'm guessing there must be good tutorials over there, since the homebrew out now had to have been learned skills from somewhere.

You have 3 options my friend:

#1 - devkitPro
This is for the person that knows C++
You dont have to be the uber master of C++

devkitPro is FREE - http://www.devkitpro.org
Unfinished guide for getting started with devkitpro : http://dev-scene.com/NDS/Tutorials

#2 - PAlib
You need devkitPro to use PAlib
Easyfied C++ ROFL
so its still programming

PAlib is FREE - http://www.palib.info

#3 - DS Game Maker
toot.gif

Drag and drop some shit.
Maybe some programming too.
I havent tried it.
This program is free but if you want no bullshit splashscreen and you want sound, "more than 3 rooms" and saving and loading you
will have to pay 12$
Kinda funny though. The other programs allows you to do the same and probably ALOT more for free
