Can some possible make a game like this

    There is a homebrew game called ribbon that is similar to the helicopter game I don't have a link so I'd just search it.

    +1 xD! Awesome job WioWao (and your brother too)! I don't like the flat triangle much, but its not like its important anyways (we aren't looking at the triangle afterall, just those acursed blox). I like the speed up! thing too (totally caught me by surprise while I was just thinking to myself that it was a little slow moving xD).

    first of all i have to say that you made an amazing homebrew there :thumbs up:

    some suggestions for new features:
    - dunno if possible yet but it would be nice if you could control the ship with your stylus
    - if the cubes and the ships are generated via code would it be possible to add the possibility to change the colors in the options?
    - maybe add more sounds and following in the options:
    sound:
    ( ) play sound1
    ( ) play sound2
    ...
    ( ) play random sound
    - a more 3d-ish ship

    Controlling with stylus is easy to do. Will be added.
    Cube color shouldnt be too big of a problem either. Will also be added.
    But what do you mean with the sound 1 and 2 ? [​IMG] More music or?

    And the heligame is looking like this so far :

    I have seen quite a few requests for "ports" of flash games. I have always been curious as to why no one has ever written a flash player for the DS. I know that at one point the player was open sourced, not sure what that status is now that Adobe own the flash brand.

    If the flash player was ported to the ds, most flash games would be almost drag/drop.

    Also, iPhone apps are coded in ObjectiveC, that is quite close to C++.

    I have some fond memories of sitting in class and playing this game on my old TI-82 back in the 5th grade. I'll definitely keep an eye on this from updates.

    EDIT: For some reason this wont run on my DSi O.o Can somebody else confirm this? Runs on Phat DS!
    EDIT2: Running on DSi now after starting the game with wifi turned off. Dont know if thats what fixed it though.
    Bloxavoid has been updated to 0.9
    Changes:
    More music (Playlist/Shuffle etc etc)
    Wifi Scores
    Different controls including stylus control
    Various bugfixes.

    To do:
    Apparently some tunes never end, regardless of the loop setting. This i probably caused by jump tags in the mod-files.
    Sometimes the game crashes while uploading scores.
    Sometimes a timeout never occurs when using wifi to connect to the server, causing an endless loop.
    More variating gameplay.
    Add a control layout for steering with y/a.
    Improve upload/download speed if possible.
    Use double buffer to prevent flickering screens.
    Add different color schemes

    Possible bugs:
    Timer overflow after 2 hours of gameplay without dying
    Score overflow

    Just some imput, but dificulty levels would make the game more fun. It takes to 4,000 points for the game to get hard. It's just an idea though.

    Does not work with my dsi or ds phat and Bloxavoid.hsc file is there is that normal?

    Also u should put your name in the title screen in credits or something....

    Yup just need to add highscores, add a menu and adjust the difficulty a bit.

    Wow, nice! For the helicopter, may I suggest something?

    The game on the website is quite slow-paced compared to another helicopter-like popular game, iCave on the iTouch/iPhone
