Hacking can i use SSBB modded skins if i use a USBloader?

I just wanted to know if i can still use modded skin,characters,stages, etc if i play brawl off my usb loader. Also if i can how do i do this?

You can, but you must enable the ocarina codes in your usb loader.

Weird. Doesn't mention HDDs once. It would be nice not to have to use the SD card all the time, but whatever.
