Hi folks, i apologize for registering and posting a question that may be obvious. I purchased the WiiU a few days ago hoping to run Emulators (Just like SNES9x and such) through the vWii which i know is done with the HomeBrew channel and exploting a Wii title (was going to use Smash Brawl). Automatically it upgraded to 5.5, before i was smart enough to check for compatabilty issues. Im seeing that the latest Firmware patches the Kernel modding abilities, has the vWii exploit been patched as well by this?

Hello!
You can still patch vWii. I've done it, and I'm on 5.5.0. Just make sure you follow the guide, so you don't end up using something that is not compatible with vWii and bricking it.
