Hacking can i install preloader without hacks.ini or will it brick?

i have system menu 3.2u downgraded from 3.4u and my sd card is broken so i cant have a hacks.ini because no sd card . so i use my usb stick to load homebrew from homebrew channel so i wanna install preloader. but i have no hacks ini file. can i still instal it? i dont mind having no hacks i only want autoboot to hbc

Yes you can, but I would invest in a new SD card, seems the hacks can really spice up how the Wii works.

Yeah it will install without a hacks.ini, although having one really helps in terms of additional functionality.

You could even borrow a friend's sd card for it. Once you pick which hacks you want, you don't need the sd card in the future as the hacks.ini is saved to the nand.
