Hey guys,
I recently installed homebrew on my Wii using an SD card i usually have in my nintendo switch. I have the homebrew browser on the SD card, is there any way I can transfer it to the wii system memory so I can put the SD card back into my switch?

No. You need your apps in either USB or SD.

im a complete newbie, what are wad files?
Channels.
Wads can be installed in the Wii Menu and they'll appear as Channels. But apps will still need access to media (either SD or USB) to work in some cases.

I think you can use a server too... but I'm not experienced with that.
