Hacking Can I boot up my 3ds or will it try to update itself to 11.3?

IIRC, most CFWs actually block the update nag
I could be wrong on this one, someone correct me if I am wrong.

just go into it and quit straight out, its worth a try

not from what I see .... the NAG happens after about 10 game shut downs

You can but you would need to back up your tickets first, otherwise when you turn the console back on after nand restore all the games will disappear

I wouldn't say 100% as i don't know but you won't lose anything trying

alright , as long as I cant mess up the system , I can handle having to re-freeshop games ----- hopefully NON-innstalled updates that have been downloaded are in sysnand

You can always delete the pending titles in FBI as well. Your DS will have to redownload the update before it can prompt you to install it after deleting them. That will essentially restart your update nag "clock". After that you can do whatever to block it, or turn off your internet until you're ready for it.

I did the same. My 3DS came with 11.2 and When i followed I updated to 11.3 by accident. I restored mine to 11.2 using nand resore(keep a9lh) in A9LH boot menu. You can get all your games/saves back and if you want to back up your saves use JK's Save Manager to backup your saves and then restore. Your saves will still be on your SD after nand restore but wont be detected when loading the game. Importing your saves back using JK's Save Manager solves this. Just be sure to have your game on your SD card before importing saves to have them detected. Did this yesterday and was happy i didnt have to restart my save on Pokemon Sun.
