Ok, maybe im getting all this wrong, if is the case, im sorry.

Doom BFG editon was on Xbox Backward Compatibility, With Doom 1 and Doom 2.

Apparently, These games are silently getting dropped from Xbox Store BC (the pages are hidden) by Bethesda are now they are selling Doom 3, 2 and 1 directly on xbox (not x360) for a higher price!

So you cannot download anymore YOUR DOOM GAME that was x360 edition. If you had it instaled, ok. If not, im sorry (you still can download then thru Archivments, but the pages are cleary hidden), but they do not show anymore on READY TO INSTALL.

So, can i call them bad names?

(sorry for the poor english)

I don't see anything wrong with that as long as existing owners are still able to download them.

I mean I think it makes sense that they wouldn't have a cheaper version of their product selling right next to their shiny new version. The whole thing with "hiding" the games though is eh, but we don't really know exactly how it works behind the scenes. As long as you're able to re download your already purchased or obtained (such as free games on their store) content I don't think it's really that much of a problem. Also slut scammer lol?

This is the point. Who has the x360 game, the game is show on READY TO INSTALL options (if you dont have installed then already, of course). And these games are vanished for now.

You anybody here has these games, and dont have then installed, please confirm if are they showing (or not) on READY TO INSTALL page.

Any IP owner/publisher/store hosting company can do this for any digital game (that they own the rights to) at any time.

You can argue the ethics of it, but they are within their rights. You agreed to that by using the digital marketplace (read the EULA).

Are you sure? Of course, i bought mine on X360 and i was using the BC on Xbox One that i think they legally can take off. But, if the X360 edition of the game was avaliable on the Xbox One marketplace before, and I PURCHASE the game from there (not from x360)... they can remove my access to this game anyway?

Yes. At any time.

if you say so.... but this sound odd.

That is a standard clause included in the vast majority of EULA's. Along the lines of:

"You are not purchasing this software, you are purchasing a license to use it, which may be revoked by the owner at any time."

Again, actually doing it is considered "a dick move," but they are within their rights as you agreed to it.

Anyway, if somebody can confirm that the game vanished from READY TO INSTALL page on xbox, i
appreciate. Because, this can be a issue on my country maybe, but it's a big coincidence this happen on the launch of the "new version". until them, they are a slut scammer.

EULAs don't necessarily hold up in court though.

And this be one reason why physical media will be better than digital.
Tho, now, you buy a game and get, like, a fifteenth of it.
Gotta download the rest (if you can.)
