What's the file extension of your song? It should be .bstrmYea. And audacity too
I convert it to that. What's the file extension of your song? It should be .bstrm
hello! i have used audacity before.
do not forget to set the project rate in a lower hz in case if the intended music file will be over 3.3mb!
also, i always have the music end at the same sample where it would loop. this helps me know how large the .bcstm file will be.
Yea i did that and it worked one time but i turned off my 3ds. When i turned it back on it sounded bad.If you already have the mp3 which you want to use as bcm, you have just to convert it in WAV file with audacity. Then, using YATA+, you need convert this one into a bcstm file. The result must be less then 3.3 MB to work properly and has to be renamed bgm.bcstm.
This is pretty strange. Personally I never had any kind of issues with my themes so I don't know what's happening with your device...Yea i did that and it worked one time but i turned off my 3ds. When i turned it back on it sounded bad.

so you're saying to find a song in flac format instead of any other. right?Oh God, transcoding lossy formats to lossless. Thank fuck you can't tell a difference on the 3DS's speakers, but using headphones would make it very noticeable. You'd be better off finding a FLAC variant of what you're wanting to use and transcoding that to WAV. Sorry for not being actually helpful, but this is coming from someone that appreciates quality.
I'm not even sure if this would help you, but you should try to convert your custom themes as a single .CIA pack using a program called Howling Theme Tool (https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...kages-with-custom-and-official-themes.401081/) and istall it on your emuNand.I know i've been looking for an answer for a while

I mean, for quality's sake. Any time you "convert" a lossy (mp3) format to a lossless (FLAC/WAV) format, there's a major loss in quality. And who knows, maybe using a FLAC file would work better.so you're saying to find a song in flac format instead of any other. right?
Ok i understand you ill give it a try.I mean, for quality's sake. Any time you "convert" a lossy (mp3) format to a lossless (FLAC/WAV) format, there's a major loss in quality. And who knows, maybe using a FLAC file would work better.
