Ok My Friend bought a DS Lite From Me for 80
he payed me 40
so now hes claiming that his charger killed his firmware
and it turns on but its blank so he bought a new DS Lite
and he wants his money back so he gave me back the DS and
i used flashme v8 stealth on it and it works fine
soo is he trying to cover up his lie bc he said the he never used flashme
but i think he did just to get his money back bc it was metallic rose
so he bought a metallic silver bc of the charger situation
soo can the charger kill the DS lites Firmware
i dont think it can

Very dumb indeed...

The charger only has access to the battery, nothing else.

He had to of used Flashme because that's practically the only program that can screw with the DS's firmware. Go punch him in the face and make him tell you the truth. Don't give him his money back.

he's lying his ass off. the only thing that could go wrong with the charger is a power surge that fries the DS as well as the charger, leaving nothing behind but a smoky puddle.

The only situation in which a charger could damage the DS's firmware is if the battery was running at below turn-off charge with the charger plugged in, he was flashing the DS and the charger did not supply the power necessary to keep the DS on while the firmware was being overwritten. Pretty unlikely story.

There's no way that the charger busted his firmware. If the charger does manage to bust anything, it should be the battery. And if the battery is busted, the DS wouldn't even turn on.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
