Hacking Can 4.84 OFW be downgraded?

I have an original model fat PS3 that originally had Rebug CFW on it. For some dumb reason I decided I was going to sell it so I updated it to clear the CFW so a buyer wouldn't get banned by Sony, but then I kinda...changed my mind on selling it. Is there any way I can downgrade from 4.84 so I can reinstall custom firmware?

If you enabled the QA flag, you can directly downgrade it - else you'll have to hack it again from scratch (via hardmod or ps3xploit writer, at your discretion)

Alright, I managed to jailbreak the PS3 successfully. Is there any way I can access my PSN account on CFW without getting banned by Sony? I don't play online (I know that's very ban-worthy) but I don't know if merely accessing my account is enough to trigger a ban.

I'm just hoping to download some of the older games I bought on PSN so I don't have to find them...another way and load them onto the PS3 via USB or FTP.

with 4.84 OFW all you have to do is install 484 HFW for HAN, you solved things already but, you can still the toolbox cex/dex for han, there's some games that need special patches on CFW that work fine with HAN hack, you can install the toolbox just to "enable han" to run certain games.

just a note. realized making my compatibility list, how broken CFW still is by itself! (which usually isn't the case for CFW in general, at least on other consoles)
