aw man. So there is nothing can to do. Guess I have to use iso patcher.
Not ENTIRELY true...riivolution requires you to have original, unmodified IOS. Which have the normal antipiracy checks. However, with the correct hardmod (sorry: I dunno which ones those are), it'll accept backup games as if they were originals.

Still...Wiimm's iso patcher for custom Mario kart tracks is much preferred over riivolution in this case. It makes custom iso's VERY easily (download the thing, put it and a Mario kart iso in a certain location, answer two or three yes/no questions and wait a few minutes...done).

You can't justify piracy with "he doesn't have enough money for it." That's not the way things work.

well what about trying it then buying it?

some games are worth paying for. and some are not worth paying for. and to the topic creator what game is it you wanted to try?

Sure you can try it, but if you want to use Riivolution you need to buy it. He said Mario Kart, which is totally worth it to buy.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
