Just today I recieved my m3 real package, so I opened it, downloaded newest firmware, formated my sd card (4gb sdhc kingston), copied whole SYSTEM folder onto it, created NDS folder and copied games into it.

when I inserted microsd card into m3 real and m3 real into ds, turned on it just booted into standart nintendo screen saying "There is no DS Card insterted".

I tried redo everything, redownloaded firmware, reformated microsd card, cleaned microsd card, m3 real card and ds slot-1... still no change.

Am I doing something wrong or should prepare to send it back to shop and wait another 3 weeks for new piece?

I had that problem, all I had to do was push the card in a bit more. It also happened another time when the MicroSD card wasn't in all the way. Other than that I've had no problems.

I checked it, but both sd card and real card are insterted right. when I looked closely I think those cooper contacts (m3 real nintendo ds) aren't touching each other (on my other ds cartridges I can see scratches where it connects together), its only my thought but so far only reasonable conclusion...

Any other ideas? Theres nothing special (software-wise) I could forget?

you probably won't see the wear marks on your m3 real just yet unless you've took it out and reinserted it a number of times. i also just received my m3 real today but luckily for me i've got no problems (haven't tried the rumble pack after hearing rumors of i sometimes brickign peoples DS'

)

if you have another microSD i'd say try that, if that fails try putting some paper between your m3 real and the ds in the slot (not a lot just enough to make it more snug fitting).

*shrug* best i can do hope it helps

Several people have similar issues. Mine does that sometimes when I put it in. I just need to reinsert and try again. Yours might have worst contract so you should probably process a return and send it back...

@SylverReZ nice. I've been using my BTR5 pretty much daily, got it in late 2020. Mostly use it as a desktop DAC though and the battery has already swelled up in it once, so I had to replace it. Some day I gotta grab a proper desktop DAC that doesn't have a battery lol

@K3Nv3, Yeah, cheap and nasty earbuds don't deliver the best mids, they end up sounding really muddy.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Sicklyboy, I got mine around 2022 (iirc) and it was brand new, never opened, and for £15 too compared to paying nearly £30 elsewhere.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Sicklyboy, That sucks when the battery already begins to swell up. You considering on a desktop replacement, and if so, which one?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@SylverReZ damn 15 is shockingly cheap for that. Even 30 feels like a good price just given what a bunch of other FiiO stuff costs. Granted, not familiar with what those were originally selling for, so who knows lol

As far as a replacement for my BTR5, I don't really have my eyes set on anything specific yet but it'll likely be from either Fiio or Schiit Audio.

@Sicklyboy, Originally when it came out, they sold for around $40 USD according to FiiO's news bulletin. https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/54677.html

@Sicklyboy, I would prefer FiiO as the better brand for a USB DAC.

I feel like headphones reached a peak even ones from ten years ago sound better than new ones
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@K3Nv3, all depends how much money you wanna spend. I had skullcandy headphones and shit way back when but I never liked anything as much as the headphones (and earbuds) I use nowadays

@SylverReZ yeah fwiw I've been quite happy with my FiiO BTR5 so I don't have any specific reason to not a FiiO again. Just gotta see what's available and how much I'm trying to spend lol

I have the FiiO X1-ii, and love what it does, but the battery life is kinda ass and the sluggish, unresponsive menu makes me regret my purchase a little.

has anyone here played botw randomizer for switch?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
(not the wii u version, specifically the switch version)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Frankly not. That's like a 'cheat engine' for BoTW, right?

I love Gundam but seed is not among my favourite series. Great gundams and soundtrack, but the characters... Ugh

Still better than the latest trash like Witch of Mercury
