My cousin and friend both got them, none of my siblings have ever had them, nor have I thought a few people have told us we need them (We dont NEED them. On us, they'd be purely cosmetic). The only thing we get at the dentist is fillings and teeth cleanings.

I've had mine for over two years now, and I'm probably going to get them off next year because of the fact that my molars are just coming in >.>

I got them on the bottom part of my mouth. The top of my mouth has this appliance thingy that pushes the back molar to make room to spread the teeth out. And it only hurt when they change the wire out. Oh, and I've had mine for half a year.

Yeah, I've still got braces...
Not uncommon for folks in my grade to have them, though.
I got mine in the 7th grade and should get them off pretty soon.
My teeth have straightened up very nicely, and I'm grateful of them.
It didn't hurt that much, getting them on.

Can't say I've loved the experience, but I sure am glad to have them (and can't wait to get them off!)

I need them. I have a gap in my two front teeth, and I'm getting them soon. How long would that take to get done? Anyone know? My teeth are perfect everywhere else, just a gap in the front two.

Where's the "Yes, t'was okay" option. It didn't hurt that much.
if they didnt hurt, then you obviously didnt need them that much >.<

Hahaha no. My teeth were really screwed up, but they did it really well so it didn't hurt like hell. I was happy

Really? Seems kinda long. Would they have to move all the teeth in my mouth?

mmm. most likely not
but if the gap is big enough
then i think most of your teeth will move in order to fill up the space
meh. dont worry.
im only guessing

I had my braces for 1.5 years like 6 years ago. Didn't hurt much either. I just hated the first four days of when they implemented them. I couldn't chew properly.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
