Suggestion Blocking specific people from posting on your profile.

After speaking with another user, I learned that ignoring someone does not block them from posting on your profile. A way to block a specific, troublesome person would be much better than having to block EVERYONE, and follow the people you want to allow. What do you guys think? Would this be a good / useful feature? I've never had the need for it myself, but I still think it should be a thing.

Right, but as I said in the OP, that is a bad way to be forced to handle it. You shouldn't have to remove public posting from other users because of one or two annoying people.

Right. Then you don't have to approve every single new member that joins the site, never mind sifting through all the existing ones.

That's a good point actually. Follow the people you are interested in receiving content from and block everyone else. Acts as a bit of a filter.

Although no one I ignore has popped up on my profile. I still won't mind being able to completely ignore them.
I am personally not a big fan of closing off my profile and I personally won't want to close people off when it's only a few people I don't want to deal with.
