DO NOT USE VIDEO GUIDES, please use the guide on the site and read it SLOWLY, can you go into recovery mode? (L+R +DOWN+A)

Video tutorials are generally not kept up to date. So you'll have downloaded the latest files, but using old methods. This will produce bad results. Written guides, particularly the https://3ds.hacks.guide/ , update their guides to reflect the current files and process. If following a video messed things up, any update could be the issue, be it the official or homebrew stuff, so it'll be really difficult to narrow it down. This is why folks will repeatedly say to just follow the written guide instead. This way it's easy to figure out what exactly what went wrong.

Was anything updated on the console recently? Will it get past that screen at all?

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
