ROM Hack Black Screen Entering Name Pokemon HG/SS

Im still getting a black screen when entering my name on Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, ive tried the arm7 patch and the ap patch keeps saying "can't find original hg ss nds file" so im out of luck really has anybody found a work around for this yet or is anyone able to post a copy of their save game just past this point as it would make it alot easier for me and a few other people.
Im using a R4 upgrade (it has r4isdhc.com on the front of the card)

I think the Arm 7 Patch was meant for Saving problems and the AP Patch does not work.
