Homebrew beup live 0.4 keeps "doing handshake"

i did use beup live v0.5 and it works
i dont know wats rong with urs
maybe u downloaded a bad file or sumthing

Really? I have problem with mine. It keeps rebooting..

After like 2-3 mins it will reboot and says: "Connection to notification server has died" I dunno what does it mean..

try getting closer to your connection
i was right beside my computer with my wirless touter giving me a very good connection
i was just testing i out when i got it and it worked fine

just try getting a better connection

Don't get me in a wrong but if I would sit beside the router where my computer is..
Then I could just use my computer's Windows Live Messenger..
(I use beup live on school where lots of unencrypted wireless router around)
But then again, NDS isn't design to be use for Windows live client so..
I guess, I'll try to make it work on my own xD
Oh and I did try your solution but it still gives me the problem..

or use irc clients on your ds. and connect to bitlebee. its what i had used while beup didnt work.

do other wifi homebrew work on the dsi?
i think no wifi homebrew works with the dsi (dont quote me on that XD)That's what I thought as well, I've seen no DSi users saying that WiFi apps are working.

It means your DS lost connection to the MSN server...that happens sometimes, select "Automatically Reconnect when connection lost".

Beup works fine for me. If you have a DSi, just use Meebo mobile if you have problems.

try reconnecting your dsi to the internet and then try beup live right after that

gyus, i havent updated my dsi to 1.4 so i cant use dsi browser. thats why beup is my only choice of having msn

I can confirm that Beup 0.5 does not work on the NDS Lite

It gets stuck at doing handshake then after about 5 mins terminates.

I can confirm that Beup v0.5 works fine on my DNS Lite.

ozdude83, you have got to be running the wrong version or that your WiFi is not set up correctly (I suspect the latter). Does any other WiFi Homebrew work for you? Have you given your DS a fixed IP and a DNS server that works?

Other homebrew works fine on it.. and yep i gave my DS a fixed IP eg: 10.0.0.13 say for example.

Its so annoying as this looks like a great app and all it does it stays on doing handshake. I downloaded Beup from the official site and yeh.. any other suggestions?

Strange that...but I'm glad it works for you.

I get disconnections sometimes as well, just put a tick in the reconnect box at the start.
