well i can tell from your attitude towards snesDS, that chances are you won't be satisified with any of the current snes emulators since none of them are perfect so you might as well just quit bothering.

however, if you want to try another snes emu and currently the "best" out there try snemulDS. like i said tho, its imperfect and i'm sure you'll get frustrated rather than enjoy the parts that do work

No attitude here. I'm not looking for perfect emulation. I'd be satisfied if it loaded a rom. snesDS just spits out a bunch of code whenever I select which rom to play. My problem isn't that it plays poorly, it's that it doesn't play at all, it just crashes.

I'll try Snemulds...

well since you spoke a little more than saying it just sucks i'll talk some more to

snesds is weird, depending on the card setup (assuming you have an r4) you have to load it differently... but in the current state its not even worth fiddling with, snemulDS beats it in every way in my opinion.

snemulDS is great, you'll have to mess around w/ background options in some games and some games just dont work i'd say search around theres a wiki with compatability lists and how to get certain games to look "proper" off the top of my head i don't remember where its at tho.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
