Gaming Best Pokemon for one-man team?

Just got my Pokemon X, and I am totally new to this generation.
In the past generations, I always like to play with one-man team. I never have a really balance leveled team.
Best example would be Swampert. I remember wiping all the Elite Four with only one Swampert.

Which Pokemon in Pokemon X will be the best to replicate such success?

Aegislash can been good
it has 2 modes

sword mode (attack mode high attack, low def)
shield mode (def mode low attack, high def)



start in shield mode so you can use attack buffs like sword dance and still be in shield mode

i had a move set like
Sword Dance
King's Shield (is a must for it make you go to shield mode)
Shadow Sneak
Sacred Sword


need to heal go to shield mode and heal up

This gen of pokemon gives you an exp share key item which gives all your pokemon 50% of the experience for free so even if you use just one pokemon, your other pokemons will be at a decent level.
If you want to use just one pokemon, you should probably choose from bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander, which you get in the second or third town for free. They will be your second starter and will have access to a mega evolution stone later on in the game, which activates OP mode.

Level 100 Ditto is all you'll ever need.

Unless you're facing other level 90-100 Pokemon in which case they have the advantage of having a whole turn before you do.
