Weavile, Gengar, Metagross, Charizard, Empoleon, Scizor's evolution.

Or six Bidoof's and a Glock 9mm. Check your tournament rules before deciding either.

Sceptile, charizard, skarmony, snorlax, gyarados, and metagross

    Need the moves?

If those two continue, this topic should be deleted

Smogon sucks etc etc. I'd rather not go into that.

@OP keep on trying to battle and find what team suits you best; the best way to learn is to do it yourself. Some stuff I've found:
~Always have a Dragon-type on your team, or a Pokemon that knows a Dragon-type move. But don't go overboard, and remember that Salamence is now considered an uber.
~A Steel type is a necessity. I suggest Magneton, Metagross (HELL yeah) or Scizor. (but don't be some metagame a-hole and make a team with six of them. I'm tired of that.)
~When not playing a game with the sleep clause, have a Pokemon that knows Sleep Talk. Not too hard to find.
~NEVER HAVE TWO POKEMON WITH THE SAME TYPING IN THE SAME TEAM
    ~When using great Normal-types like Porygon2, remember that they're still Normal-types. a Psychic-type helps balance things out.

I don't play the Pokemon, but I'm assuming you're referring to the DS games, so I moved this topic (back) there.
Also, off-topic filler and pointless bickering was removed.

Let me know if I've got this in the wrong place, otherwise, carry on.

Metagross is not an uber. If Smogon doesn't rate it as an uber, then it isn't. Tiers are not based on stats: move pools and team positions are taken into account too.

EDIT: Let me get on topic now. A team should have special or physical sweepers, a lead, and a rapid spinner at bare minimum. You can try using Aerodactyl as a lead, TTar as a physical sweeper, and Forretress as a spinner. That way, the sandstorm element brings them together. However, sandstorm is very problematic so you may want to bring TTar into later game and have other sweepers such as Lucario, Weavile, Infernape, and Gengar. Try to make sure that no 2 typings are the same, and make sure that you aren't prone to a single attack that many Pokemon on the same team will have such as Earthquake.

You can find EVs / IVs for respectful positions on Smogon.
This might be a bit belated, but the first thing I see is that your team does not have a lead or a rapid spinner. Most people you play will have something with Stealth Rocks or Spikes equipped, and this seemingly marginal amount of damage you're taking is crucial to multiple Pokemon fainting. I suggest using an Aerodactyl, Gliscor, Swampert, Metagross, or Heatran. You should usually anticipate a Stealth Rocker unless you know for certain your opponent does not have one somehow; if he does, use a rapid spinner. The options are Forretress, Starmie, or Tentacruel (if you use Starmie or Tentacruel, take out Empoleon). This then covers your other 4. Since Salamence is now an uber, the Dragonite should have EVs of 116 Atk / 192 SpA / 200 Spe with Roost replacing ExtremSpeed and Flamethrower replacing Fire Blast (the extra 20% damage does not make up for 20% loss in accuracy). Cresselia is a huge counter, so put in a Ttar into your team (I would take out Swampert then).

Ttar @ Choice Scarf (for speed)
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly nature

    ~ Stone Edge
    ~ Crunch
    ~ Pursuit
    ~ Earthquake

With Ttar, you may also want to watch out for purely defensive teams so throw in an Infernape using the "Physically-Based MixApe" moveset on Smogon. This will also hugely counter other Ttars. Replace Heatran with Infernape to cover the ice weakness Dragonite has. With 2 Pokemon left, I would consider investing in defensive Pokemon: Blissey, Skarmory, Snorlax, Umbreon, etc. Then your last Pokemon can be filled in with something of your choice, probably something with an electric move to counter the Gyarados Infernape could be facing. This is where your Rotom-W works out fine.

This is only my opinion on what a team should be. You are welcome to experiment with it, but I am not saying it is perfect. You are also welcome to disregard this post as well.
