Mixing Records is a feature from the generation 3 Pokemon games (Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald) that allows to get more out of the game to give it a bit more
of a community feel, while there are alot of benefits to it, there is one issue that can ultimately screw you over in the long run.

If you aren't familiar with this feature outside it allows for a multitude of things such as:

- Giving someone else who doesnt have an Eon ticket, an Eon Ticket.

- Allowing for your friends secret base locations to be in your game allowing you
to battle the team they had when they mixed records with you, daily.

- Updates on your friends journey via the TV.

- gossiping about your friend via the Pokemon fanclub interviewer and rate them from a score 0 to (10?)

- Trading secret base decorations via the red bard.

- Changing the colored bard within the Mauville City Pokemon Center.

There is one more aspect of this that can be in your favor or against you depending on the circumstances,
within the battle Tower there is a random chance that you can encounter someone that you've mixed
records with, and depending on their team it can really make a mess of things.

This has happened to me twice and i've struggled to play around the team from my copy of sapphire as seen here:

This can be fixed by mixing records again and the other person having a different team, but think of this
as a PSA when doing the post game
