Sometime ago, I homebrewed my wii and played some n64 emulated games, but found that I had trouble with running some games, like Banjo Tooie. Now, I've homebrewed my Wii U and its vWii using Plaiect's guide, and I heard that there are N64 emulators that can be installed on vWii and run games better than emulators on the original wii. How do I install one? I would prefer one that can be played in multiplayer with Gamecube controllers.

might want to try injects. I got 120 stars in super mario 64 a while back, but that was an official release. :D

Not64 with c2w patch
Wii64 by Fix94 Rice version and c2w patch
Check my blog for more info.

Banjo Tooie runs fine with the right ini settings via inject but there is the other options I mentioned.

If only work was still ongoing via Not64/Wii64 for Wii and get latest GlideN64 up to date im sure on the WiiU with C2W Patch would do the rest.

[Render]
Canvas Width = 320
Canvas Height = 240

[RomOption]
TrueBoot = 1
BootPCChange = 0
BackupType = 3
BackupSize = 2048
UseTimer = 1
RetraceByVsync = 1 or 0 for off

[RSPG]
Skip = 1 or 0 for off

Try these settings Banjo Tooie.

The Compatibility List is not maintained and therefore outdated I have started my own via my own research I have lots to add yet though including ini's.

I use Wii64 Rice on the vWii side with Gamepad support through one of those vWii injects! Look up "Wii64 With Overclock and gamepad support" on Google, and you should find the inject-- works super-duper well. : ) At the end of the thread, I added a note about how to play multiplayer with this version. At any rate, while plenty of N64 games work better through injects (of which you can find a bajillion already made if you look up "wiiuiso vc inject"), hacks tend to not work through injects. BUT they work through the emulator! ^_^ So there's some rule-of-thumb there.

I have a thread with 2 N64 Emulators both with Overclock and Wii U gamepad also latest builds of the Wii N64 Emulators
