Hacking Question best course of action sysnand to emunand.

I am running 8.1 with atmosphere on sysnand. I have a backup from 6.0 when I first got the console and now want to use the current sysnand as emunand and restore the backup for sysnand. Would it be best to update everything in the current cfw to the newest atmosphere and firmware or move it across as is?

Also what would the process be for me to actually do this?

Just to clarify my cfw sysnand has never been online and I want to create emunand and use this then restore my backup as the new sysnand.

Basically the order does not matter as much. I would update everything still on sysnand. Then create the emunand out of this. Then restore the console with your old backup, boot it (with hekate and select original firmware in case you burnt fuses while being on something later than 6.0), go online and let sysnand update itself to 9.0.1.
