Hello,

Recently got a couple of psp systems that i found in some local yard sales

Most of them are running official firmware from 2-4.0 versions

What would be the best CFW to use that is up to date for now ?

These are all 1001 models

Any recommendations on the newest updated reliable emulators the psp can use ( for gb/gba, n64, nes, snes etc,) ? Last ones i have are the ones that were releases a decade ago so not sure if many of those got updated. Last I recall N64 was basically unplayable.

Some of these psps I bought probably have issues, anyone know of a specific game that uses all the buttons without having to complete any tasks ? This is so i can test all the system buttons in a fast pace

Thanks!

Hello,
You probably solved all this by now but here goes nothing:

All of my 1000 series PSP's run PRO-C, never had any issues with PRO-C. There's a good few tutorials out there on how to install it

For gb/gbc/gba I use TempGBA, never had any issues and it runs really well imo.

The best way to test all the buttons is probably the Internet Browser (I know sounds weird). Boots up super quick, shows any stick drift straight away, when typing a website url you can test the shoulder buttons and all of the buttons as well.
