Hacking bbc iplayer in ROI

Hi guys I want to use the BBC iplayer in Ireland. I have gotten the channel by changing the wiis region to the UK and downloading it off the wii shop channel. When I want to view/listen to a program it always gives me this error "Currently BBC iPlayer is available to play in the Uk olny. Error 375007." Is there any proxy I could enter on the wii itself that would make the iplayer work? cheers

Tried to get this working as well, a while back. Unless you get behind a UK VPN server, I'm afraid it's a no-go. I'd like to be proven wrong though, come on gbatemp brainiacs, helps us dubs out!
