Hacking Banner Brick; Which System Menu to reinstall?

My girlfriend's Wii banner bricked after installing a WAD and I'm not sure what system menu she was on, but it was either 3.2U or 4.0U. Preloader is installed, so I can get to the HomeBrew Channel and WAD Manager, but which system menu should I install to get out of this mess? BootMii is not installed. She has Wii Sports Resort, so I'm not sure if that would mean she would have to be on 4.0U or not?

if you have preloader you're safe

just simply uninstall the bad WAD that was installed with WAD Manager

if you dont have the WAD anymore
then erase it with Anytitledeleter
