In addition to my "online switch" I have a backup console which currently runs firmware 2.3. Originally the idea was to keep it that way until some real cold boot and/or emunand was developed. However reading through several tutorials and videos as far as I understood waiting isn't really necessary. With ChoiDujourNX I can install newer firmware versions without burning fuses and if an exploid like described really happens I could go back anyhow.
So therefore I plan todo the following:
* Backup NAND and keys (to go back)
* Enable AUTORCM
* Use KOSMOS (former SDFiles) to run Atmosphere
* Upgrade the console to 6.2 using ChoiDujourNX (or is 6.1 better?)
* Enable ExtFat (here I have to dig farthere, since there were quite different guides with contraticting ways - maybe this step is outdated)
Does this sound reasonable for you? Or would you still suggest keeping the switch untouched? Are the steps correct in this order or would you suggest anything else?
Thanks

SX OS already have emunand, and it is better to use FAT32 for homebrew, if you want to install games bigger than 4 gb you can install them with tinfoil with the usb option or with the network install.

Definitely back up your nand, boot files, and biskeys first before anything else. Store them in safe places and don't lose them. Once you do that, you can update to 6.2.0 (with the exfat update) using ChoidujourNX easily. Just make sure you don't update your gamecart slot as if you go back below version 4.x you're cart slot won't work and NEVER boot your switch officially or you'll burn fuses.
