Hey all, im getting back into the homebrew scene and was wondering in general terms, what the steps to getting a backup loader are? I do have a launch model, which i heard makes this easier. I remember the 3DS was get Homewbrew launcher, install B9S/emunand, then install/launch from HBL a cia installer like FBI - all softmodded. Is this still viable, softmodding only? Or do i require an xecutor SX thing to load backups? Thanks in advance!

It's not anything like 3DS but there is sort of software only however it does require you to enter rcm at least once and then you can choose AutoRCM. Atmosphere is free CFW but it does require a few cheap things like a usb type c cable and something to force your Switch into RCM. Anyway instead of explaining it myself just read this guide.

Ditto

Basically you need to get atmosphere up and running

Make sure you get the right sig patches to allow you to play fakesigned games

Then use something like goldleaf or awooinstaller to install the games
