Sam and Max Season One now works with RiiSkiMod (SoftMii). I haven't been following the compatibility thread but if I remember, this was the only game not working up until the point of the 002 protection.

Would a region change using Region Frii 1.2, solve the problem?

SSBB NTSC works fine. Burned using IMG-Burn (with layer-break specified) on 2.4x Verbatim DL+R made in Singapore at 8x!! with a Pioneer 111D

Start the game and vs matches or really playable?

So far so good. I played adventure mode and classic then ran into trouble reading the disk.. No doubt from burning at 8x on 2.4..

I made a dvd5 one that seems to be working fine too. Is there any particular part of the game that isnt supposed to work? Can you tell me exactly where it is supposed to fail?

cIOS_r7 doesn't support well the DL discs, but somehow I don't understand why the PAL version seems to work properly according to the wiki...!!!

What exactly happens, black screen, 324 error, 002 error, NO DVD error, I really don't want to waste 12 hours of DLing and a DVD on this game just to fix the problem...!!!

Yes I agree please tell me where the problem is.. I can't take much more of Cinderella LOL.

Ive noticed games on the compatibility list work. When I first started doing the soft mods, any issues I had were with the super early releases, not having the right IOS/CIOS, marginal burn quality/media.
Story Time is one of the many "incompatible" titles that seems to work for me. UGH.. please tell me where it craps out and fast I cant take much more..

Well the Disc channel doesn't recognise the disc, but the Gamma loader does. It starts to load and displays a black screen and hangs.

Hmmm. Not sure if this helps but...

I am not forcing anything and it works, using component cables an NTSC back up, and Gamma Loader 03 with 002 fix rev2 auto-boot. (Not sure if the cables still makes a difference like it did way back when.)


Is this the original or copy?


For me the disk channel does not recognize back ups unless I reboot with hooks on the back up loader. I always launch back ups through back up loader and originals through Disk Channel.

OK I will try Force PAL!

I am using a ntsc copy, on PAL system, standard RGB cables, used Big Moe's Installer v3 & Cioscorp Installer!

The disc channel recognises my backups and originals after installing cioscorp, absolutely awesome!

Well you still need to use the AnyRegionChanger_mod5 and after that re-install cIOS30 to add the region free to CIOScorp and launch the game from Disc Channel

Please don't add every game that doesn't work region free as "not working". That's a WELL known issue that some games don't contain the video mode code for the other region. If you can play the game with force english(i suggest it's english) and force ntsc it's working, even if you get black & white playback.

i installed risky mod 1.0 and tried bolt pal game just sits on spinning disc on disc channel and black screen on gamma loader,anyone know of this works.does it need any special cioses

Mmmmm.... maybe you didn't installed right the RiskiiMod, try another out of region game in your console, force to a diferent region in the config of the launcher; this thread is not to report wich game you are having troubles with, it is to confirm a

non-working game

than open it in isopatcher
set the number to 249
then patch it
burn it
and it will work with no problems

It's called Waninkoko's IOS Version Patcher or if you like it short: IOS Patcher not "isopatcher". This is well known in this form, take a look at this thread for other games which need that:

does dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 work? the PAL one on my NTSC wii didnt even tho i forced NTSC
im tryin da NTSC version now even tho it shudnt make a difference but did it work for any1?
also, rockstar games present table tennis PAL version didnt work will the NTSC one work (i have NTSC wii)

Sega Superstars Tennis works with Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma on my PAL wii.
Used Verbatim dvd-r MCC 03RG20

Mortal Kombat Armageddon (PAL) and SSX Blur (PAL) do not work!
