Hacking Backup eShop games to XCI?

Hey guys,

I'm about to create an SD emunand, but I wanted to make sure that I can isolate my OFW from CFW. Is it possible to backup my purchases? I want to restore my nand, create an emunand version of it, and then factory reset my OFW.

Eventually I plan on getting a bigger SD card, and a small 2.5" hdd in order to store everything.

I plan on purchasing games, and stuff. Don't really plan on playing a shared backup. I only modded my switch so I can emulate my favorite games. For Switch games though, I'd hate to have to lug around 800 carts. So I do want to have the ability to backup whatever eShop game I download.

I honestly don't know if I am banned... I went online(Just turned on wifi) with a few CFWs to use the Homebrew app store. SX-OS, ReiNX, Atmosphere..

My NAND backup should be one that was made before CFW was booted into. Why can't I factory reset if I'm banned?

because it connects to Nintendo Servers to notify that the account will be unlinked, and since you're banned, you can't connect to it
someone correct if I'm wrong on the first part, but yes, it doesn't let you format if you are banned because it connects to nintendo servers

There is a way to factory reset a banned switch. You can also unlink your switch from your account.

Yes that method is correct but the switch will most likely still be linked to the account. You have to sign in from Nintendo.con to unlink your console from your NNID

NNID = Nintendo Network ID (ONLY FOR WII U AND 3DS)
NA = Nintendo Account (ONLY FOR SWITCH)

You can link both to share the eShop money
