Just as it says on the tin, implement a simple change for quoting.
Any [*img] tags quoted in a post automatically become [*thumb] tags.

IE: This
Code: 
[img]http://i.imgur.com/Hl8fg.jpg[/img]
When quoted, becomes this
Code: 
[quote][thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Hl8fg.jpg[/thumb][/quote]

This should be great in situations where someone responds to a post that was only an image.

It's not for picture-only posts.
The idea is to change all IMG tags in THUMB tags to make the images smaller when quoted.

But as I said, this will lead to the thumb tag bug (which PK demonstrated) eventually.

Well there's always this tag:

[tn=150][/tn]
The only problem that occurs with that one is that the height is lost when editing/quoting.
