I feel dumb. I thought I understood all of the local setup of a http server, and I have that setup and I have the gateway html files index and frame. But, when I try to type in my ip address I just get my routers home page. I am so confused

Everyone should make a QR to go with this.

Are you typing your PC's IP address? As in the one you're sitting at right now?

Well, I'm tried typing in my local IP of my pc and my real internet ip. But, both give the same result.

I'm betting its because I don't have a Domain registered for my server.

Can confirm this works brilliantly on Toshiba flashair -- and its cheap and easy, $26 on amazon. Thanks for this great idea.

Imagine that, serving the exploit files from the 3ds itself, LOL. :D
(only disadvantage is high battery drain but you could always swap out for a conventional SD card)

What are you talking about? You can't swap out the SD card unless you NEVER use emunand. That's like pulling the C:\ drive out of a windows machine while it's still running...

I had developed my method to get this working and Gateway releases downgrade packs. Well I think I'm going to join DS Exploit folks, it's faster and has some additional hacking apps (only currently available on 4.5 such as xorpads and all that stuff)

Yeah, I have and I've tried setting up on my pc. doesn't work...need some help.

On my LAN, my Linux server running Apache has LAN IP 192.168.0.10. My 3DS is connected to the LAN, when I open my 3DS web browser I type 192.168.0.10 as the URL.

Also make sure there aren't any firewalls or anything blocking port 80. On your PC, you can test your website by going to http://localhost/ or something like that in your web browser.

Can anyone get a webserver working on an iPhone? Also, in my case my school has wifi and I can access gateway website with my phone but the school wifi blocked the 3DS user agent.

That just means your school probably filters mac addresses(to prevent unauthorized access, obviously), just ask one of the technicians to allow your 3DS. I'm sure they'd be happy to?

If your iPhone is jailbroken, you can proceed with the following:

-Open Cydia
-Add http://ios-webstack.tk/cydia to your repo Sources list
-Search for ios-lighttpd-php-mysql
-Select Install (it will display a long list of dependencies), confirm, then respring
-Use a file explorer app (like Filza or iFile) from Cydia to go into /var/www and copy over the contents (html and dat files)
-In Safari, type 127.0.0.1 (if it works, it will display a page saying so)
-Now if you use your phone's hotspot, determine the hotspot IP address of your iPhone, then type that IP into your 3ds (after connecting to your hotspot) along with the applicable fw exploit html link (example http://172.20.10.1/fw40.html) **I renamed my htmls for convenience's sake**
-If everything works, it will push the payload to your device.

Not sure if there is an easier way, but this is working for me. Also unsure of how this will affect battery life. I don't know if there's any way without a jailbroken iPhone though. I took the path of least resistance in my situation.

Do you know if it exists such a method for windowsphone 8.1 ?
