I dunno the reason for doing the patch in the first place for Psycoblaster, but professional or just for fan base, I think he's doing one hell of a professional job.

For me, helping this project is purely for the fan inside of me and for you guys... Sure I do have my own selfish reason of Wanting to play the game... I wanted that game since I first saw a screen shot back when the DS wasn't even out yet... seeing Psycoblaster was working on a Fan translation it was a an opportunity for me to help out... I actually work as a Tester for a major game company and thought my expertise could really help out the project... I got enrolled and I helped out as much as I could... I still am impressed at how incredible his translation is and how professional his work on it is to this level... I wasnt even expecting half as much work.

Just think of it as it is: It's taking a long time, because the quality of the work is exceptional... get high hope, because they will be matched when the patch is finally released ;-)

In all seriousness, I never had any intentions on reading up on this game, let alone playing it, but gained an interest since this thread pops up the list all the time on the first page. I checked out a bunch of info on the game and am now pretty excited to play. It may be due in small part to Mistwalker's involvement, but seems fun regardless. Appreciate your dedication during this, what seems to be, lengthy process and continued pursuit for perfection. Once this does drop, you'll be apart of the elite few translators that actually completed what they started. It's a small number, so your work is more important than realized by most.

You can give someone all the translations in the world and they still wouldn't be satisfied, they'll still be kids throwing tantrums.

Unfortunately, I don't think this will ever change

The cycle will continue to repeat, that's why some translators close their thread temporarily, so it doesn't keep repeating.

Quite sad, actually.

I doubt that's what she's worried about.

I am personally ecstatic to see her post again. Always am, because it's a firm confirmation she's working on it (at least when schedule allows).

^THIS~! Just look at TOI, that project took a lot of time too and it's just amazingly done~!
You could almost say the longer you have to wait, the better it will be~!
