We're trying to do a serious beta test so it will definitely take some time to go through all the possible issues. So it will take time besides setting up a central reporting station that is.

I think that's the best way (for now)
I'm creating a wiki right now, and a google docs page is easy to set up so I'll get these ready. I'll start to distribute the patch once I'm done with the wiki.

Psyco, I can't get the patcher working. There's only one ASH file on my usual download site, 256mb. I try to apply the patch and I get an error message, and the new file is only 12 bytes. Advice please.

Well if you get an error, you should tell me what the error is..

It says

xdelta.exe: expected from file *file path for my rom* of length 268435456 bytes. I click OK and it says patching is complete. But the resulting file is far too small for it to have worked, it's only 12 bytes.

If it makes any difference, the rom I'm using is 1458 - ASH Archaic Sealed Heat (J)(MaxG).nds

Do I need to rename the file or something?

hmm.. check your rom again and see if it is exactly 256MB.
