I tried using a hex editor to poke around in the file itself as well as the Name Modifier codes by Full Metal Kirby, but both of those just corrupt the save and make me start from scratch. Closest I got was changing the first two letters using the hex editor, but trying to make it a four letter name hasn't been successful at all. Testing this using the Dolphin Emulator if it matters.
