I do not know if such software exist where it can automatically prune entries in the .reg file created by regedit. So for example after exporting an Office 2019 registry entries into a reg file:
Keep in mind the above entry shown is a fraction of the entries in the reg file.
So I would like to prune some of those entries and I could do that by manually deleting them, but that will take forever. Anyway I would like the resulting to be this:
This is more condense and is equivalent to the first entry.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\ClickToRun]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\ClickToRun\propertyBag]
"Version"="15.0.9999.9999"
