Hacking Any reason to have a DSi?

I never said all those reasons were enough to warrant a purchase. I just stated the things the DSi has that the DS (Lite) doesn't have.

And the DS Lite's speakers really suck. Seriously. They were A LOT worse than the DS Phat (which is nearly on par with the DSi).

The screen size (DSi vs DS Lite):

That's still quite large IMHO.

Ever heard of Dark Void Zero? Castle of Magic? AiRace? There's some great DSiWare games out there. I never said all of them were good - most of them are crap - but some are really worth your money.

I also never said the DSi Browser was perfect. I just said it was much better than the DS (Lite) Browser. It's much faster. Also, you're not supposed to use it for places like the temp, but more for things like checking your mail, Googling some stuff, etc.

I am also looking forward to the 3DS now... it seems like the DSi didn't really need to exist.

The DSi has a 'clicky' D-Pad like the DS Phat had, but the DS Lite lacked... It was (at least mine...) soft and silent... Broke quickly too...

that was exactly want i wanted to say

i got my ds lite last year like 3-2 weeks before the release of dsi
i regret now that i got a ds lite
before i was like "wth 0.3 mp camera that sucks and i like a gba slot on my ds"
i never NEVER used my gba slot and 0.3mp on a dsi is better than 0mp on a ds lite
dsi has a better gui and everything

if it was ds lite vs dsi
dsi won because you can have a flashcart on it and everything on a dslite just an improved version of it in terms of software and hardware

when playing my ds lite im always careful to not break my d-pad because its soo soft and silent and its HANGING out all the time and its like it's being held be 4 strands of thread, but a dsi has a clickly d-pad which i LOVE ( i dont know why but only a white ds lite in the whole line of ds lite's has a clicky d-pad, only the white ds lite and all the dsi's have the click-pad, all the other colours have those stupid soft-silent d-pad's which break)

so i rather get a dsi then a ds lite
